I’m a Gemini and curious about almost everything!
However, I dislike writing much and prefer to post pictures. You can make me happier if you can come by daily to view my blog and leave some comments for me to read. Make friends with me and up my happiness barometer! 🙂
Why use hya*cinthus? It’s my online persona and I quite like this flower which grows in a cluster and gives a sweet scent. This blog is all about my life experience and thoughts living in Singapore. Hopefully, it will leave a legacy for future generations – be it Singapore street scenes, buildings, food reviews or a glimpse into the past of someone living in Singapore.
My personal motto is Simplify Complexity! 🙂
I couldn’t find a better way to list most entries in my blog except to place a link to my ping.sg profile at http://ping.sg/user/hyacinthus. Hope it would help you to find something that you like. Otherwise use the Tag Cloud or Search at the bottom of the page.
If you want to use any of my pictures, it may incur cost. Please email me to discuss. I will not answer to photo requests posted in comments.
Do continue. I love the images you post. Especially of the buildings and the skyline.

I used to think blogging is a waste of time.
However, after starting on a project, I came to appreciate the beauty of it.
It’s easy to start one and it can be a record of happenings in the present and a reference to the past for the future generations to appreciate. 🙂

Your website truly shows the amount of effort you have put into your work on this site. Its simply amazing. How do you manage to find so much time to go around taking the photos? Is this your full time profession?

*laugh* not my full time profession. anyone with a compact carried everywhere he / she goes can take pictures as long as there’s something interesting.

Hi Hyacinthus,
Re: http://fitnessdesigncoach.blogspot.com/2007/10/online-family-tree-its-free.html#comments
Sorry for the late reply.
I didn’t know we have a Singapore online family tree. Thanks for the link. 🙂 Anyway, the one that I posted earlier has a google earth map of where your family members live. So once you input the right address, the location is placed in the google map and you can view where your family members are from anywhere around the world.
I am sure there are more differences between the two. Either way, similarities do appear from the two maybe the stark difference is the incorporation of the Google Map.
Thanks for you comment 🙂
