Those instant yeast packets from supermarkets are convenient.
However, the post on growing yeast naturally looks interesting to try. I’ve filled a bottle of raisin water yesterday as instructed and here’s the results today.
Shaking it vigorously as some advised to achieve better results.
See the bubbling effects. I’ve opened the bottle and smelled only of diluted raisins scent. Looks okay. No mould 🙂
Hope it’s good for baking on Saturday. 3 days to grow yeast and another 3 days to feed and rest the yeast. Will post the progress in the next 1 week.
