Levain Progress

The progress as shown in the slideshow. Time in 24hr format is shown in the caption corresponding to each picture.

Click to see a bigger graph. The levain tripled in volume within 3 hours. Mainly due to higher room temperature in the first 90min. Not sure if it will continue to grow. I’m going to bed now and see how is it tomorrow. It’s smelling good in front of me 🙂

  3. Hello, I’m making raisin yeast water for the first time. May i know what raisin did you use? Is it coated with little oil? If not, what brand is it? Thank you!!

    • I use sun maid raisins. No oil used.
