No Signboard Seafood

No Signboard Seafood restaurant entrance at Vivocity.

Interior – Black chandeliers, black furnitures and wall of paintings illustrating sea creatures – lobsters, crabs etc.

Even chopsticks and tissue pack is black.

Ordered a Set Menu for 4 pax.

Water with lime and lemon slices to wash your hands after eating crabs.

Use these nut cracker to crack open crab pincers.

No Signboard Seafood Cold Platter

Braised Shark’s Fin with Crab Meat – feel like drinking runny glue…

Crispy Cereal Prawn – taste good! I meant the cereals – doesn’t taste oily and is fragrant. Prawns are fresh and you can eat its shell. But, I choose not to.

Ee Fu Noodles – Too much food. We tabao this back.

Crabs in lots of thick chilli sauce that has egg, crab roe, crab meat mixed in it – you can even tabao back to dip with baguette. Beware of cholestrol though 😉

Small deep-fried buns or mantou…

… to dip with Chilli Crab Sauce

Looks like a boil on the meat? :p

Crab Roe and Meat – Fresh and Succulent!

Longan Jelly

Total damage = S$267.07

Verdict – Only Chilli Crab and Crispy Cereal Prawns are worth ordering. 🙂

  1. $67 per person. You guys are rich! 😛

But the decoration sure looks nice and the food too 🙂

  2. The decor looks very much like Hei She Hui (aka BOSS, i think) also located in Vivo.. food is pricey but generally above avg.

  3. How did you eat crabs with fingers and still manage to snap photos?

  4. @rinaz
can’t judge the depth of one’s pocket by one dining expenditure! For all you know, I could be quite broke end of the month! 😉

    @Mr Eviokix
    Same sentiments exactly!

using a compact is easy. left hand to grab the crab and right hand uses chopsticks to dig the meat. can always put down chopsticks to take pic with the right hand.

So, it’s possible. Try it! 😉

  5. I think this “No Signboard Seafood” is really popular. The one at Kallang Oasis is always packed like sardines!
