Hua Yi Kitchen

Someone recommended that I try Beijing food here as she (from China) found it authentic and good. So, I thought no harm trying since I was already there.

The place is small and has simple decor.

I noticed there were quite a few tables of well-dressed patrons in the restaurant. While I was there, there were 3 other tables of Japanese. From my experience, if there are Japanese patrons in a Beijing food eatery, its noodles and dumplings should be good.

Ginger slices were too thick and not as juicy as Qun Zhong‘s.

Hot Chrysanthemum Tea – S$1.50+

Minced Meat Noodles – S$4.80+

Mix it and eat. Quite good.

Pot Sticker Dumplings – S$5.80+

This pot sticker dumpling has more vegetables than the one at Qun Zhong.

Where’s the place?

What other things do they sell?

My verdict is 4 out of 5.
