Singaporeans’ Favourite Pastime?

Queueing?

Just joking lah 😉

It’s a common sight every weekday morning above City Hall station next to St Andrew’s Cathedral – people queueing to get on a shuttle to Suntec, Marina Square, UE Square or other nearby places to work where there’s no station currently.

Why choose City Hall as the boarding location?

  1. City Hall is the interchange for North South Line and East West Line.
  2. North Bridge Road has 5 wide lanes and 1 dedicated for buses.

Staff were also deployed onsite by building facility management to maintain orderliness of the crowd. See those guys in red ties below?

However, in time to come when Circle Line and Bukit Timah Line are ready, getting to Marina Centre would be much faster and easier for me.

Question is how much longer from now till then? hmmm….
