Southern Ridges Bridges – Crossing Next Year?

Location of the Henderson Crossing Surface Bridge marked as “A” on the topology map above. Ribbed-cage design of the bridge can be seen constructed on both side of the road already.

Edit on 23 Sep 2007: The updates on the Henderson Crossing Surface Bridge.

Location of the Alexandra Link – Meandering Walkway marked as “B” on the topology map above.

Location of the Alexandra Link – Mile-A-Minute Bridge marked as “C” on the topology map above. You can see part of the bridge constructed near the blue building on the centre-right of the picture below. Some trees are being cleared to construct the meandering walkway.

Edit on 23 Sep 2007: The Alexandra Link Bridge

They are scheduled to be completed by end of this year. I wonder how it would be possible as it’s only like 50% completed currently.

  1. Very green

I sure would like to try it out. Many times the urban planners put in a lot of effort into creating these new leisure areas, making the most of what we have on this tiny island. Yet people do not make time to check them out and bitch and whine.

I myself would like to go there n take pics. Hotels in the area would be good to pull human traffic through the natural spaces.

  2. not everyone loves Singapore the way we do.

I believe one can see the skyline from Henderson Bridge. 🙂
