Has My Bus Arrived?

Haha… yes.

174 arrived (I was in the bus) and the next bus is arriving in about 17 min.

These real-time bus arrival information display panels will list bus service numbers, what time the next and subsequent buses will arrive (+-three minutes error due to changing traffic conditions) and whether they are wheelchair-friendly.

The panels are progressively installed at 30 selected bus stops in Orchard Road, Ang Mo Kio and Yishun at a cost of over a million dollars.

I spotted this outside Rendezvous Hotel.

Talk about stress… Poor bus drivers.

Have you spotted any yet? 🙂

  1. I saw this in Orchard but the timings don’t seem to match with the reality!

  2. well, it’s +- 3min error as reported in the news.

I think this is stressful for bus drivers to meet the service level. Safety is still first priority.

  3. yupz yupz … i saw this too at the bus-stop outside Tangs … v hapi to know my bus is arriving .. ^^

  4. That’s what they should be spending their multi-million profits on.

  5. erm… I believe it was LTA who paid for the pilot.
