Misleading Road Sign

See this picture. Can you tell anything wrong with it?

Still, can’t tell what’s wrong? See the arrows on the road hidden in shadow. It meant left and right turn is allowed.

If someone really made a right turn, it’ll be going against the oncoming traffic.

Dangerous, isn’t it?

Now, here comes the question – If there’s an accident because of it, is the driver or the authority at fault?

  1. LTA replied me on 12 Sep 2007 saying that the arrows will be redrawn 🙂

Quoted “Our site observation shows that the arrow marking are indeed painted
wrongly at the car park access near Blk 28 Jalan Bukit Merah. I have
notified HDB with regards to the matter and they have agreed to carry out
the necessary rectification works to the arrow markings.

We thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.
