PM Lee Hsien Loong’s National Day Rally Speech at NUS Cultural Centre this evening:
At 6.45pm / At 7pm / At 8pm
In summary, the last part touches on Income Gap i.e. leaving no one behind, Upgrading Education i.e. levelling up society, Ageing Population i.e. to live actively, Working Longer i.e. more savings for old age, Improving CPF i.e. building a nest egg, Upgrading & Renewal i.e. best home for all and Forging Ahead – go for it together.
How true. If only few people are forging ahead while the rest simply lag behind in the race, how to progress? Everyone has to do their part – no matter how insignificant it may seem to be.
Edit on 20/08/2007: PM Lee appearing on the front page this morning. Working beyond retirement age of 62. I don’t mind working till 67 if I love what I do and still get paid decently well for it 🙂
